Made Media is a specialist digital agency that designs and delivers innovative digital solutions for arts, culture, and entertainment brands like the LA Phil, Royal Albert Hall, and New York City Ballet. We help our clients connect with the world — sharing their ideas, events, and passions with as many people as possible.

We're looking for a solutions strategist to sit at the point where a client's ambitions become a plan our teams can build. You'll work across websites, mobile apps, and campaigns, getting to the bottom of what a client actually needs and shaping the solution that meets it. It's a role for someone who's equally comfortable in a discovery workshop and in the detail of a technical specification.

Reporting to our strategy lead and working closely with the product owner for Tessitura integrations, you'll be a translator between the people with the problem and the people with the keyboards — and a trusted advisor to both.

This position is fully remote and open to applicants based anywhere in the United Kingdom.

What you'll do

  • Uncover what clients really need. Run workshops and interviews to gather and analyse business requirements, getting past the stated brief to the underlying goals.
  • Turn requirements into specifications. Translate business needs into clear, well-scoped technical specifications that delivery teams can act on with confidence.
  • Propose tailored solutions. Recommend approaches that fit each client's context, and document work items so designers, developers, and producers know exactly what to build and why.
  • Facilitate digital transformation. Lead technology planning and digital transformation workshops that help clients make good, durable decisions.
  • Support delivery and quality. Work alongside project management and QA to keep engagements on track and make sure what ships matches what was agreed.
  • Juggle multiple engagements. Manage several client relationships at once, balancing competing deadlines without dropping the detail.

What we're looking for

  • At least three years in digital product roles, with a track record of taking work from idea to delivery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — you can explain a technical idea to a non-technical stakeholder, and a business goal to an engineer.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally with designers, developers, and producers.
  • Solid data analysis skills, and an eye for the technical and user-experience detail that makes or breaks a solution.
  • The self-motivation and organisation to thrive in a fully remote team.

Bonus points

  • Experience in the arts, culture, or entertainment sectors.
  • Familiarity with Tessitura, Spektrix, or similar platforms used by arts and cultural organisations.
  • A background in a digital agency or other client-services business.
  • Workshop facilitation experience.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools like Teamwork or Jira.

We encourage you to apply if you think you meet the majority of the requirements. Very few candidates meet 100% of any job specification, so please submit an application if you believe your skills and experience are a good fit overall.

Practicalities

This role is remote, but you must be based in the United Kingdom and already authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship. The role involves occasional travel to company events (usually in Birmingham, England) and to industry conferences.

Made Media is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from people regardless of race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability status.
